LET’S CONNECT, BC!
It happens quite often. I see information about an event after it happens. š Most of the time I can live with that. But sometimes they’re events that are great ways to connect with your neighbours and people in your community. They’re events that help to build community. Or they’re inclusive and affordable events that can benefit families and individuals.
This is the type of information that needs to be shared.
Do you know about events and programmes in your community in BC that you’d like to share?
You’re invited to join the Connect BC group page on Facebook. (Apologies in advance to people who don’t use Facebook. I will try to share the information on Twitter when I can.) It’s a closed group so you will need to click on “join” before you can see the content.
On the Connect BC page you can include links to Facebook pages, specific posts, event pages and websites in the comment sections.
If you can, do share a link to the group and let your friends and family know where it is. You can find a Share button within the head photo.
I know that there are other events/programmes informationĀ group pages but there’s always room for one more effort focussed on deepening connections within our communities here in British Columbia.
