Did you know that on Saturday, November 14th, 2015, The Good Mother Project will hold a “Good Mother Photo Event” in Vancouver? Partial proceeds from the event will be donated to the Pacific Post Partum Support Society – an organization that supports mothers and their families experiencing postpartum/perinatal distress, depression and anxiety.
Each $50 photography booking will include a 10 minute mini session with one of four professional photographers, an online gallery of three black and white edited digital negatives. The mums who take part will be asked to share an encouraging message to another mother they know (or mothers in general) by posting a message or photo on social media using the #goodmotherproject hashtag.
The event will take place from 2:30 – 6:30 pm at The Scotiabank Dance Center at 677 Davie (on the corner of Davie and Granville) in downtown Vancouver.
It’s not a stretch to say – and you know it’s true – that mums are often the ones behind the camera. This event is a great opportunity for you to get in front of the lens and document a moment in the life of your family.
Thank you to Kristina Matisic for reaching out and sending information about this event to share with our community!
