Spring is upon us and summer is just around the corner. Newspapers are brimming with articles about gardening and city officials are slowly but surely embracing the concept of access to community gardens. If you live in a smaller home or apartment, community gardens are your only opportunity to garden on a larger scale. In the spirit of all things in the garden, we are starting a column over the next few weeks focused on the efforts of Laura, a local community gardener who is starting up a garden on Burnaby Mountain for the first time.
