Phew.
My children love it and so do I. I just recommended this video to a family the other day.
The setting of the video helped my children to make sense of “up there versus down here”. We sing the song from time to time. We pretend we’re in space when we’re on the playground. We also looked at the video of the capsule returning to earth and other photos that the Commander shared on Twitter.
This was my #1 favourite content on the Internet last year. (In addition to the Commander’s tweets.) It gave me hope that we can all think as one and be on the same journey together with similar (albeit perhaps not always identical) goals for the earth.
Bowie’s last day – we had permission for a year, so our Space Oddity video comes down today. One last look: http://t.co/z6umXHoPCk
